Although for tastes the colors.

The aesthetic section is the most subjective when we talk about cars. Everyone has their taste and, therefore, their preference in terms of style, although, nevertheless, there are certain notions that a greater number of mortals can share among themselves. Today we are going to get wet with 4 cars that have taken an aesthetic leap in their current generation.

Logically, there will be disparity of opinions in this regard, so I encourage you to leave us your comments on social networks about other models that you think improved overnight in their current generation changes.

Peugeot 2008

We could put the Peugeot 5008 on the list, since the evolution has been very similar, but we are left with its little brother, the Peugeot 2008, because due to its segment it is a model with a greater impact on the market and sales.

Now clearly established among small SUVs, the original was basically a 208 with the additions typical of this format, creating a kind of crossover without much personality and that was bland.

The current one, which came to light in 2020, was a total change, being created as an independent model, with a much more muscular aesthetic and more marked features that give it its own character, the most prominent area being the front, thanks to the combo that they form the grille and the optical groups.

Citroen C4

The case of the Citroën is one of the most striking of the entire list, since we are not talking only about an aesthetic change, but directly about a change in format, since the C4 stopped being a compact to use to return as a coupe-style crossover.

This, by itself, would already be an important point in favor of the current generation, since it presents a much more attractive silhouette and, in addition, it introduces the model into a segment that is going to rise in the coming years; but it is also that, speaking purely of design, it beats its predecessor by a landslide.

The previous generation, which appeared at the beginning of the last decade and was updated in the middle of the decade, was quite bland, having lost almost all the personality that its predecessor did have. The current one already sports the flashy front assembly that we have seen in other recent models of the brand and it looks much better.

toyota prius

The C4 underwent a radical change, but in the list the most spectacular example has been that of the Toyota Prius, which has undergone an unexpected aesthetic turn in its new generation, which is not even for sale yet.

To be honest, Toyota’s hybrid deserves all the respect in the world for being the first production HEV and for having started a path that other brands have followed later, but being honest, we must also recognize that the Japanese brand is not He has worked hard as far as image is concerned.

Speaking in silver, there has not been a beautiful Prius in all of history, at best they presented a neutral image, but that has changed with the fifth generation of the model.

The adoption of the new design language of the company has been really good for him, highlighting the format of the front headlights. In addition, the new format of the body, which while still a saloon adopts a much more coupe and aerodynamic tints, enters through the eyes.

The inclination of the windshield, details such as the hidden rear door handles, the size of the tires, the large glazed area of the roof or the finish of the rear, which integrates a small spoiler, have earned it points.

Kia Niro

Was the previous Kia Niro ugly? Not at all, but we can all agree that it was a very neutral model. He had nothing that would attract much attention, nothing that would generate controversy. It is something that is good for sales reasons (it opens up a greater potential audience), but it is a bit bland from a design point of view.

The new one, on the other hand, is the opposite. The Korean brand has decided to risk design (the new Kia Sportage is another example of this) and it is something to be thankful for. The current Niro has a much more marked personality, the front is more daring and the large moldings that extend from the front wheel arch and the C-pillar differentiate it from other cars.
