The tuning fork brand has just launched its latest novelty in Japan, the Yamaha X Force scooter, an all-terrain urbanite ready for anything.
With an aggressive appearance, with a pointed front and a double full led headlight, the Yamaha X Force is presented as an aggressive urban scooter capable of facing anything.
It has a succinct plastic body at the rear, but wraparound at the front, and located higher than usual, because its suspensions have a little more travel and its seat is 815 mm from the ground.
It has a flat platform, double-height tube handlebars, a generous seat, and the fuel tank filler neck is located on the left countershield.
With 13” wheels that will give it great agility, it is equipped with a 267 mm lobed front disc brake with a two-piston caliper, plus a 230 mm rear disc brake with ABS.
The Yamaha X Force will only be sold in Japan at the moment
Under the seat there is room for a jet helmet and on the countershield there is an open glove box on the right side, and there is also a USB port and a luggage rack.
Instrumentation is a simple black/white contrast LCD display with Bluetooth, and a dedicated Yamaha Motorcycle Connect (Y-Connect) app.
As for the engine, it is the well-known single-cylinder Blue Core 4T cycle (LC, 4V, SOHC IE, VVT) of 155 cc and 15 CV, with VVT -variable opening time valves- and Start&Stop.
The weight of this Yamaha X Force is 130 kg, a really good figure.
It is offered in four color combinations, green/black, blue/black with red wheels, white/black and metallic black.
At the moment it is only for sale in Japan, although a 125 cc version for the European market would not be bad, right? To fight against the new 125 off-roaders such as the aggressive and attractive Aprilia SR GT 125.
