There are several brands that have already confirmed their attendance at this year’s event and one of them is DS Automobiles. In fact, the show is so important for French brands that the company has issued a report announcing all the DS news for the 2022 Paris Motor Show.
DS will be in Paris with all its latest developments, although it has reserved a major world premiere for its debut at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles next week, in a stand prepared for the occasion that includes curtains, materials, colors and a scented environment with background music emanating from FOCAL speakers.

One of the great novelties is the new DS 3. The model was unveiled during Paris Fashion Week, with a renewed design, more equipment, a new interior, an updated mechanical range and a new electric version (called DS 3 E-Tense), which offers more power, a larger battery and a certified range of up to 402 kilometers on a single charge.
Another of the models that will be at the 2022 Paris Motor Show will be the DS 4, which will present its renewed range with the appearance of the Opéra version, in addition to the Performance Line versions with more equipment.
The Opéra finish stands out for the use of materials such as heated, massaged and ventilated leather seats, DS Active Scan Suspension with controlled damping, sunroof, hands-free electric tailgate, wireless charger and aluminum pedalboard. It also highlights the DS Drive Assist 2.0 technology and the DS 4 E-Tense 225 plug-in hybrid version with 62 km of autonomy.
The also revamped DS 7 will be in Paris next week. It will do so with its updated design, its extensive technological equipment and security systems, and a range of plug-in hybrid engines with 300 and 360 CV of power, and an electric range of up to 62 kilometers on a single charge.
The world premiere that the manufacturer will reveal and add to the DS range is the new DS 9 Opéra Première. This exclusive version adds luxury to the interior with Pearl Gray Nappa leather on the dashboard and door panels, Pebble Gray Alcantara headlining and four body colours: Black Pearl, Platinum Grey, Crystal Pearl and Whisper.
In the mechanical part, the 360 hp DS 9 E-Tense with 4×4 traction is equipped with a 15.6 kWh battery that allows it to travel up to 62 approved kilometers in 100% electric mode. The DS 9 E-Tense 250 Opéra Première is another 250 hp plug-in hybrid, but with a 75 km autonomy. It also includes all kinds of safety and driving assistance technologies.
Lastly, the DS E-Tense Performance concept car will also be at the Paris event. This prototype goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.0 seconds, has a total power of 600 kW and 8,000 Nm of torque to the wheels thanks to its two electric motors, and a truly unique design.
