The BMW X7 2022 is the update of the SUV of the German brand, an update that goes through the usual facelift (literal here), the complete electrification of the range of engines and that expands its equipment to be still More complete.
As if the giant grills of models like the BMW 4 Series did not generate enough controversy, BMW has decided to make another move that may not please everyone, presenting split headlights for the SUV, which change its image quite a bit.
They are the element that most varies the aesthetics of the model before the facelift, although there are also other novelties such as the new bumpers, the wheels that can optionally be up to 23 inches (from 20 as standard), the Iconic Glow grille (as standard or optional depending on version) and the BMW M Sport package.
The interior of the BMW X7 maintains the expected quality thanks to elements such as the BMW Individual Merino Extended leather upholstery, the comfort seats in the front row (remember that it has three, with six or seven seats) and the BMW Live Cockpit Plus that integrates the 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 14.9-inch central screen.
In addition, its equipment includes a sports leather steering wheel with paddles, a high-quality sound system, a panoramic roof, a four-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging surface for smartphones or the Intelligent Personal Assistant that is part of the Operating System 8.
Its range of engines is not excessively wide, as it is made up of only three options, but all of them are 48V micro-hybrids, including the most powerful, the M60i xDrive that mounts a 4.4 V8 with 530 hp and 750 Nm.
Below are the access diesel, the 340 hp xDrive40d and the 380 hp and 520 Nm xDrive40i gasoline, which has improved its performance by 41 hp and 71 Nm. Also common to all three variants are the eight-speed Steptronic Sport gearbox and four-wheel drive.
