Digi’s bad performance: warns of the fall of its fixed lines and then deletes the tweet

Outages in services are always there and can happen at any time, not only in operators, but also in large services, as happened yesterday with the fall of WhatsApp. However, the good thing about having access to social networks is that we can find out through their official channels when it works or if there has been some kind of breakdown.

Although, the problem is not only when the services are down, but also in how the telephone company itself acts. And this is exactly what has happened with Digi and the technical problems it has had on fixed lines just today. Despite having notified its clients through one of the different official channels that it has, the truth is that the operator’s behavior leaves something to be desired, as we have been able to verify with the tweet that they have deleted.

Digi and his half confirmation

Why do we say that it is a half confirmation? Well, because first of all, although the telephone operator correctly notified its users through its official Twitter account of the different technical problems they had encountered on their landlines, the company shortly after decided to delete the tweet from its account so as not to leave trail nowhere.

The digital footprint left by his tweet is still there, even if we can’t see it. The reason why they have decided to delete it from their account is unknown, but if you want to know specifically what the notice was, here we leave it:

“It is possible that some of our customers are experiencing problems with their landlines. We are working to resolve it as soon as possible so that you can enjoy our service again. We apologize for the inconveniences”.

It’s not your thing, your landline has problems

Therefore, if throughout the day you have noticed that the landline you have contracted with Digi has stopped working or was giving you problems when making calls or receiving them, it is not a matter of your telephone, but rather of the own line. At the moment the reason is unknown, since in the tweet itself that they had written from the telephone company they did not respond to this.

The good side is that they confirmed that they were already working to solve the technical failure that had caused the different problems in their clients’ fixed lines. In addition, they also apologized. Although, it has not lasted long, just a few minutes passed from the publication to its deletion.

Remember that not all operators have a fixed line in their rates. Although, at Digi we can add the landline to our rate by paying a little more every month. In any case, we can only wait if these technical problems that have been reported by the different clients of the operator are solved throughout the day. And, of course, it remains to wait if the tweet has been deleted by mistake or due to some mistake they have made.
