The successful maxitrail of the Bolognese firm receives a new member in the family, the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally 2023, in which its more adventurous and off-road side is emphasized.

As you may have already guessed, the Multistrada V4 Rally 2023 is based on the current asphalt model to which some components and settings have been added or varied.

If its off-road performance needs to be improved, the first thing is to equip it with 19 and 17” spoke rims, mixed Pirelli Scorpion Trail tyres, a generous sump guard and wider footrests with easily removable rubber inserts.

To make it more travelling, a new 30-litre aluminum fuel tank has been installed, with new rubber protections on its sides, a 40 mm higher and 20 mm wider windshield, a redesigned front end to improve aerodynamics and electronic suspensions. Marzocchi Skyhook DSS Evo with increased 200mm travel.

It also retains the automatic electronic minimum preload system, which always maintains the same height of the bike regardless of the load or the situation, which debuted on the 2022 Multistrada V4 S.

The new maxitrail is designed for off road.

This system also allows you to adjust the height of the motorcycle when it is stopped, so that it is much lower and allows you to get on your seat -adjustable in 2 positions- more easily. When starting the bike automatically returns to its standard height, also adjusted by the user.

It also has the Easy Lift system, which makes it easier to lift the motorcycle from the side stand to get on the motorcycle, thanks to the fact that the compression hydraulics of the electronic suspension open and the motorcycle lowers.

Its 90º Granturismo V4 engine -4T, LC, 16V, DOHC, IE, 1,158 cc- develops 170 CV, and has a system that, in addition to deactivating the rear bank of cylinders in urban driving or when the motorcycle is idling, it also remains disabled at low speed. It only reactivates when the pilot is helpful with the gas fist.

It has received some tweaks to its cylinder head and electronics that reduce its consumption and level of emissions.

The instrumentation continues to be a 6.5″ color TFT screen, with Bluetooth connectivity and integrated GPS navigation -in the “mirror” function of the smartphone-, which is navigated with the joystick on the left pineapple. And there is no lack of a USB socket and a 12V power socket.
