GP Saudi Arabia F1: Schedules and how to see the classification live

Aston Martin is also doing well in Saudi Arabia: Alonso once again mingled with the Red Bulls during the first two free practice sessions. Today the classification is celebrated starting at 6:00 p.m.

Fernando Alonso confirmed in the first two free practice sessions of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix that his Aston Martin AMR23 also has enormous potential at the Jeddah Circuit. In these two test sessions, the Spanish driver was only surpassed by the Red Bull, who started again as favourites. The classification will clear us today of doubts.

There are many unknowns to solve this Saturday afternoon in Saudi Arabia – from 6:00 p.m. -, since beyond the good rhythm of Red Bull, it is not easy to set up the grid behind them. Max Verstappen seems to be insurmountable, but it remains to be seen by how long, since in Free Practice 2 he only managed to beat Alonso by two tenths. Will more potential be saved for qualifying?

The Spaniard seems to be the alternative to the Dutchman, and to his partner, the Mexican Checo Pérez, who could also have more pace in his pocket. But Aston Martin will not be able to assume that it is the second team either, since yesterday Ferrari hid its cards by running with less power in its engine in order to preserve reliability. Therefore, the 9th and 10th of Sainz and Leclerc is not real.

The Mercedes, Russell and Hamilton also appeared at the top, but in a very timid way. Despite this, we cannot forget that in Bahrain they were also hidden and in the end they ended up beating Aston Martin F1.

Be very careful with Alpine, who already did very well last year in Saudi Arabia (remember the battle between Alonso and Ocon), and they may have the pace to face Mercedes and Ferrari. Maybe not one lap away, but tomorrow in the race Ocon and Gasly are ready to fight.

The agenda for the day at the Saudi Arabian GP:

  • Free Practice 3: 2:30 p.m.
  • Classification: 6:00 p.m.

How and where to see the GP Saudi Arabia F1 2023?

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, like all the races on the 2023 F1 calendar, can be seen live on the DAZN streaming platform, which has broadcast F1 exclusively since 2021. This is the only legal way through of which it will be possible to follow the races of the queen category in our country.

To access DAZN’s sports offer (including, among other competitions, F1 and MotoGP), you have to hire one of the packages it offers, including the most basic one offered by motor competitions, such as “DAZN Essential”, which costs €18.99. The “DAZN Total” package, which also includes football, costs €29.99.

Once the package is contracted, you can always access the broadcasts through the DAZN application integrated into Movistar TV or Prime Video, but the broadcast will always be that of DAZN F1 and the price to pay, except for specific promotions), the same .

As someone you know will have already told you, there are other ways to watch F1 for free, such as IPTV, an online link or another ‘pirate’ application, but it is something that we do not recommend doing at all.
