Before we start, I want to confess something to you. The truth is, there are some unofficial applications, with the function of saving all the statuses that the contacts publish. This means that if any of your WhatsApp additions uses these apps, it will be impossible to delete the status of their phone once published.

What is a WhatsApp status?
The so-called WhatsApp statuses are images, videos or gifs that the user can share (if they wish) for a maximum of 24 hours. Once this period has expired, the status will be automatically deleted. But if you still do not have the application installed, you can download WhatsApp from the Play Store.
There is no limit to the number of states that can be placed. They will be grouped in a thread that your contacts can go through (as long as you have them selected to see your statuses).
The only impediment is the duration of the videos: they will have a maximum of 30 seconds, which will be solved, if you want, by putting several fragments of a long video in the WhatsApp status.

How to delete WhatsApp statuses with any mobile?
The steps to permanently delete a WhatsApp status are very simple. This method works both for states that have already been published, as well as for those that have presented an error when uploading.
You will have to have your mobile device in hand, with the Whastaap messaging app installed. In addition, logically it is necessary that you have one or several states already published. You can create a test one to learn.
When opening the application, the first screen that is shown to us is the CHATS screen, but we want to go to the STATUS window. To achieve this, you will slide your finger from right to left. When you do, you will be in the right place, go easy.
Now, at the top, where it says “my status,” you’ll see three dots aligned horizontally to the right. Clicking that section, the list of our states will be displayed.
The only thing left is to hold down the one we want to delete, and choose the trash can icon. It should be noted that you can delete several states at the same time, if you select them before pressing the icon.
Another way to remove your states would be by pressing on the one you want to remove (no holding, just a tap). Then, you slide your finger from the bottom to the top, and in the displayed box, you press the garbage container.
Before deleting, you will be asked for a confirmation, to prevent you from doing it accidentally.
