Has it happened to you that you are doing an activity on your mobile, such as watching a video or playing a game, and suddenly an inopportune call falls on you that occupies your entire screen and interrupts what you are doing?
If the answer is yes, this time we bring you some alternatives to eliminate that annoying full screen that overwhelms your phone and prevents you from doing any other activity.
If you have an Android device with an operating system equal to or greater than 5.0, you can configure your mobile so that, when you receive a call, you receive a notification on a small side of the screen, instead of covering the entire screen. your device.
The great advantage of this option is that we can slide the notification if we cannot attend and we can continue with what we were doing as usual. A very useful option if we are behind the wheel, using the GPS on our mobile, since the call will not cover the entire screen and we will be able to continue seeing the route without any problem.
How to turn off full screen for incoming calls on Samsung
In order to deactivate full screen mode on a Samsung device, the first thing to do is go to the Phone application and there we will have to press the three points in the upper right corner.
Once there, we will have to go to settings and look for the Calls in pop-up window option and enable it. What this function does is show incoming calls in a pop-up window, that is, as a notification, instead of the full screen.
Keep in mind that this function is activated when you are using another application, therefore, if the phone is inactive, the classic full screen will be displayed when receiving a call.
If this configuration does not work for you or the option simply does not appear, your device probably has another operating system. In this case, the first thing you will have to do is go to settings.
Being in settings, you must look for the Applications option and once there, you will have to press the three points located in the upper right corner and select the option Show Android system applications.
At this point we will have to go down to where Telephone is. We press this option to see the information of the application.
Finally we will have to go down to the section that says Advanced and deactivate the option Options that can be displayed. If your device does not come out with that name, press the option called Show above and disable the permission.
In this way you will no longer have to worry about an incoming call monopolizing the entire screen of your mobile. The next time you receive one, a small notification will appear where you can attend, reject or simply skip it by swiping the notification to the side.
Other ways to disable full screen for incoming calls
If for some reason, your mobile doesn’t have the function to create a notification when a call comes in, you will have to resort to a very useful application called Call popOut.
This application is responsible for creating a notification if a call enters our device, preventing the full screen and saving us interruptions.
We will have to download and install this app, available in the Play Store. Once installed we will open it and the pre-established configuration will be the one indicated; however, we can change options such as working with all applications or some of them, the size and location of the notification on the screen.
When a call comes in, a small circle will appear with the notification, which will not interrupt whatever we are doing with our device at all. If we leave the notification pressed for a few seconds, several options will pop up: Reject the call, answer it, divert it or silence it. In the same way we can block or deactivate incoming WhatsApp calls and video calls when necessary.
This application is quite useful for all devices that cannot perform this function by themselves. It is very light and does not consume much battery.
