INNeingine signs an agreement with the air taxi startup EVDRON, which also becomes part of the shareholder
INNengine, the revolutionary engine of the Spanish company of the same name, announces the signing of an important agreement that will allow testing the effectiveness of the technology in flying taxis.
To do this, the Andalusian company has signed a collaboration agreement with EVDRON, a startup based in England and Singapore that focuses its activity on the development of manned and unmanned electric aircraft, known as VTOL.
The INNengine engine is the result of more than 10 years of work. A commitment to reduce emissions and consumption of traditional combustion engines by simplifying some parts, but maintaining performance.
mutual benefit agreement
As explained by INNengine, the agreement signed with EVDRON is “dual”. That is, both parties will benefit from the experience and innovations of the other.
Thus, the Spanish company is committed to developing and producing its revolutionary engine once the testing phase that is now underway has been completed. While the English startup becomes part of the group of INNengine shareholder partners.
“INNengine has something unique in the market, and it is the best technological solution we have found to complete the propulsion of our air taxi project”, said Anurag Gupta, CEO and founder of EVDRO.
“The work of Juan Garrido and his team – with whom we spoke recently at autobild.es – is incredible, and we firmly believe that we are facing a startup with the potential to revolutionize the world of transport,” he adds.
INNengine for drones
Juan Garrido, for his part, has revealed that the aeronautical industry is one of the sectors that has shown the most interest in its technology.
The creator of INNengine is convinced that “the niche of large drones can change the world”. For this reason, he ventures to assure that the agreement with EVDRON will be “the first of many that are to come”.
