Jaguar I-Pace 2023: novelties in the electric SUV range with 470 km of autonomy

The renewed Jaguar I-Pace 2023, the premium electric SUV with 470 kilometers of autonomy, presents a series of novelties that affect the entire range.

The Jaguar I-Pace is the first electric car from the British firm. It was launched on the market in 2018 and underwent an update just two years later. Now, coinciding with the arrival of the new year, Jaguar has once again renewed the model and presents us with an updated Jaguar I-Pace 2023 range with many new features.

The main innovations focus on the design side. Jaguar’s electric SUV now sports an exterior where we now find a grill with a smooth design and an Atlas Gray finish, a color that we also find in the side shots of the front bumper. Meanwhile, the new Jaguar badge on the grille is finished in black and silver.

Another novelty is found in the lower finishes of the doors, the front bumper trim and the rear apron, which have the same color as the body instead of Gloss Black. It features mirror-polished wheels, while the 22-inch wheels are now finished in Satin Gray with carbon fiber inserts.

The Gloss Black finish from the exterior Black Pack is now standard on all models from the R-Dynamic SE on the grille surround, window surrounds, mirror caps and rear badging. There’s also a contrasting panoramic roof and new Eiger Gray or Carpathian Gray satin paints.

On a mechanical level, the Jaguar I-Pace 2023 continues to be equipped with an electric propulsion system made up of two motors that develop a total power of 400 hp and a maximum torque of 696 Nm. It has all-wheel drive and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

The energy comes from a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery that allows it to approve up to 470 kilometers of autonomy. When recharging, from a 100 kW direct current charger you can add up to 127 kilometers of autonomy in just 15 minutes, while from an 11 kW wall charger you can complete the charge in 8.6 hours .

Finally, the new 2023 I-Pace is equipped as standard with the Pivi Pro infotainment system, offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Alexa voice control, Spotify and what3words navigation.

The range of the new Jaguar I-Pace 2023 is made up of two models for the Spanish market: R-Dynamic SE and R-Dynamic HSE. At the moment no prices have been announced.
