The Kymco X-Town CT 300, the A2 license version of Kymco’s new family of urban GT scooters, is now on sale at the brand’s dealerships. Its price is €4,699 and, as in the validated version, it surprises with its flat platform design and better performance on intercity journeys.

The X-Town CT family of the Taiwanese manufacturer saw the light for the first time last January in its 125 cc version for the validated A1 or B license. A new reinterpretation of a style of scooter, called compact GTs, that Kymco likes a lot, since it has been using it for decades, for example, in the first editions of the Dink and Grand Dink families.
These, in turn, had a main and very recognizable characteristic; its completely flat platform. A hallmark that is maintained in the X-Town CT and that, of course, will also be available in the new Kymco X-Town CT 300, the new version for the A2 license designed to provide better performance on intercity routes, and that has just arrived at the dealers of the brand. All this, of course, thanks mainly to its mechanics of exactly 276 cc that is capable of reaching 22.8 CV of power at 7,500 rpm and a torque of 24 Nm at 6,500 laps.

In general terms, the Kymco X-Town CT 300 is a scale copy of the A1 version, being practically identical on an aesthetic, ergonomic (the comfortable seat is only 790 mm from the asphalt) and technical level; where it keeps intact some specifications such as its 13-inch wheels, a 240 mm brake disc on each axle (managed by an ABS system) or a conventional telehydraulic fork with 37 mm diameter bars and 110 mm of travel.
In addition to its extremely agile and functional design, the Kymco X-Town CT 300 will arrive excellently equipped to provide us with maximum comfort and ease in daily use. With this we refer to arguments so precious among those of its class such as a capable compartment under the seat with LED courtesy light, bag hook, two USB power sockets (on the handlebar and on the hood), Full-LED lighting, as well as a complete analog/digital instrument panel inherited from the Grand Dink family.
