Meet Atlas, the low cost SUV that arrives with electricity from Morocco

The arrival of electric cars has been the perfect breeding ground for the emergence of new brands within the automotive world, some with unusual origins. The last to be announced has been ATLAS e-Mobility Group, originally from Morocco and which has already advanced its first model, the Atlas.

The truth is that the company has been quite sparing in details, but it has already shared the first brushstrokes of what will be its debut model.

The only image revealed is the one that illustrates these lines, just a sketch that draws some of the details of the model, but enough to know that we are dealing with an SUV.

Although due to its origin it could be thought that it is a robust SUV with a country style, something like a Dacia Duster, the drawing suggests a somewhat more stylized vehicle, with a slightly coupé roof drop.

It seems that it will have a muscular front bumper and that the line of the rear wheel arches will be ascending until it ends in high position light groups.

Another interesting aspect is that it is an electric SUV that will be based on the platform of a European manufacturer that, yes, has not yet materialized. In fact, no more has been revealed about its technical section, which is a complete unknown.

The company has wanted to point out that it will be an affordable model, that it will seek to attack the market from below, something that could allow it to gain a foothold, since the offer of low-cost electric cars is not abundant.

There is still a lot to learn about the Atlas, but there will be time to break down its formula little by little, since we will have to wait to see it on the road: it will not begin to be marketed until 2026.

But where is it going to be sold? The company speaks, in principle, of “the markets of Europe, the Middle East and Africa”, but has not specified further.
