Mercedes GLE 2023: preview of the update before its debut at the end of the month

The firm of the star has published a teaser image of the Mercedes GLE 2023 as a preview of the update that the German SUV will receive at the end of the month.

At the end of this month, specifically on January 31, Mercedes will reveal all the details of the update that one of the largest SUVs sold by the German manufacturer will receive. But, before it is presented, the star’s firm wanted to capture everyone’s attention by publishing a teaser of the new Mercedes GLE 2023 on its social networks.

It is a facelift that the Mercedes GLE will receive both in the conventional SUV version and in its Coupe variant. Although it won’t be a deep update, both models will receive significant improvements to keep the vehicle up to date with its main competitors, the BMW X5 and X6, and the Audi Q7 and Q8.

The image posted on social media doesn’t reveal much, but we do get to see that the 2023 GLE will sport new headlamps and slightly redesigned taillights with graphics that are now horizontal lines, while the reversing lights have been relocated to a lowest position.

We also expect the refreshed GLE to debut redesigned bumpers with new air intakes, an updated grille, and inside, the main new feature will be the steering wheel. Needless to say, Mercedes will implement the latest generation of the MBUX infotainment system, as well as improved driving assistance systems.

We will know all the details of the GLE 2023 in just two days and we will leave doubts about how deep the update is, since no changes are expected at the mechanical level. If so, the GLE will continue to offer three gasoline engines, one with 367 CV (GLE 450 4Matic) and the two variants signed by AMG, the GLE 53 with 435 CV and the GLE 63 S with 612 CV.

In addition, the offer also includes the successful 272 PS (GLE 300 d) and 330 PS (GLE 400 d) diesel engines as well as two plug-in hybrid models: a 333 PS gasoline hybrid (GLE 350 e) with 97 kilometers of autonomy in electric mode, and a diesel hybrid of 320 CV (GLE 350 de) and 96 kilometers of autonomy. Both have a 0 Emissions environmental label from the DGT.

Currently, the Mercedes GLE is priced at 80,959 euros, while the GLE Coupé is available from 95,923 euros.
