Praga Bohema, this is the 710 CV hypercar that you can drive on the circuit and on the road (if you have 1.28 million)

Approved for circuit and open road, only 88 units will be manufactured

Praga, a Czech brand with more than 100 years of history, presents what they say will be one of “the last of its kind”. The Praga Bohema is a 710 hp hypercar that uses the Nissan GT-R engine to go from 0 to 100 km/h in less than four seconds.

At the moment, the Bohema is a pre-production prototype. This means that once it is presented as it will be manufactured for sale (this is expected to happen throughout 2023) there should be hardly any modifications.

Less than 1,000 kilos

The designers of the Praga Bohema have put a lot of effort into caring for aerodynamics. Thanks to the fact that its entire body is made of carbon fiber, the empty weight of the prototype does not reach 1,000 kilos (982, to be exact) and they say that the production model will be even lighter. The bodywork (very close to the ground) has numerous details that favor the passage of air.

It does not have (and this is curious) active elements, such as the drop-down flaps that are common in cars of this type. In return, they have worked on the bodywork, with a multitude of folds to channel the air; even the mirrors have been designed to increase aerodynamics.

710 hp

In the case of a hypercar with these characteristics, it is urgent to know what it has under the hood. Well, the Praga Bohema uses a 3.8-liter biturbo V6 engine, with 710 hp and 725 Nm of torque, which is the same as the one used in the Nissan GT-R.

With this mechanism, the prototype (they say that the final version will be able to increase power) will be able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. What they have not provided is the maximum speed data.

€1.28 million

The Praga Bohema will go on sale in a limited edition of 88 units; each for 1.28 million euros (to which must be added the taxes of each region).

But do not think that through this pasture you will take a car loaded with equipment. The interior is very simple, although it has everything you need: two seats, cupholder air conditioning, smartphone holder with USB connection and a screen on the steering wheel that shows all the necessary information.

You can carry 100 liters of cargo in two small trunks located in front of the rear wheels.
