Renfe
To validate your youth promotional code at Renfe and obtain the corresponding discount, follow these steps:
- Go to the Renfe.com website and search for trains in the usual way. Select the origin and destination stations, the date and time of the trip, and click the search button.
- Once you have selected your trip details, you will be redirected to the “Traveler Information” screen. Here you must enter your personal data, such as your name, surname and identity document number.
- In the “Discounts, assistance services and promotional codes” section, you will find a drop-down with different options. Look for the option called “Young Summer” and select it.
- Next, a text field will open where you can enter your MITMA (Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda) registration code. This code is necessary to validate your youth status and access the corresponding discount.
- Once you have entered the registration code, the system will automatically update the price of your ticket with the discount applied. You will see the new amount to pay reflected.
Now you can continue with the purchase process. Review your trip details again, confirm that the discount has been applied correctly and proceed to select the payment method and complete the additional steps required. Remember that it is important to have your registration code at hand before starting the purchase process, since without it you will not be able to validate your youth status and access the Renfe discount.
iryo
Take the opportunity to enjoy an incredible 50% discount on all flexible tickets to travel between June 15 and September 15, 2023 also with Iryo. To make the discount work you must follow these steps:
- To get started, go to the ticket search engine on the Iryo website. You will find a drop-down called “Include discount card”. Click on it and select the option «Young Summer 2023«. This dropdown is located next to the “search” button.
- Once you have selected the option “Youth Summer 2023”, proceed to search for your tickets. The prices that will be displayed in the search results will already have the 50% discount applied, so you can immediately see the reduced amount you will have to pay.
- Now, in the “Passengers” section, enter your MITMA code. This code is necessary to confirm your youth status and thus be able to finalize the purchase with the corresponding discount.
Once you have entered the MITMA code, you can proceed to finalize your purchase. Review your ticket details again, confirm that the discount has been applied correctly, and continue with whatever steps are necessary to complete the purchase.
ouigo
If you want to get your discount on OUIGO, follow these simple steps:
- Go to the OUIGO search engine and look for the option that indicates that you have a “Discount Card”. Click this option to activate it.
- Next, you will find the option “Add youth discount“. Click on it to continue.
- A new window will open where you will be asked to enter your MITMA registration code.
- Once you have entered your registration code, add your card and click the “Search” button. This will allow you to see all the available travel options.
The prices shown in the search results will already include the youth discount applied. You will be able to immediately see the reduced amount that you will have to pay for your ticket. This measure aims to facilitate leisure travel during the summer for young people, while contributing to the recovery of the tourism and cultural sector after the pandemic.
