No, the Honda CRF-E2 is not built by Honda, but by Greenger Powersports, but is approved by Honda America and will be sold through their dealerships. In fact, neither the name nor the Honda logo appears on the tank, only on the sides of the seat.

The small CRF-E2 is equipped with a 3.4 hp (2.5 kW) electric motor and a lithium-ion battery that stores 960 Wh of energy. It allows a range of 2 hours and recharges in just 2.5 hours. The transmission is by chain, so the engine has been located in a central position, for a better weight distribution.

This battery is easily removable and can be changed for another in a few seconds, if you want to keep riding without having to wait for the recharge time.

It weighs only 48 kg, mounts disc brakes and 12″ wheels with Kenda Millville K771 tires.

The suspensions are made up of a 33mm telescopic fork and a DNM shock, which has adjustable preload and rebound damping.

It is intended for training young cross country riders, and is priced at $2,950 in the United States.

This bike is a clear rival to the Husqvarna EE 5, which, while more powerful, is also more expensive than the CRF-E2.
