This means that from now until it is not known when, the selection of Moscow and all the projects that this division of Michelin had planned or already underway in Russia are frozen. The tire brand joins the veto to the country led by Putin for the war in Ukraine.
“The Michelin Guide has made the decision not to promote Moscow as a destination,” they announce in a statement. This means, in addition to the paralysis of projects in Putin’s country, that publications about the restaurants of the Moscow selection are suspended on social networks, the website and the MICHELIN Guide app.
“These decisions do not question at all the talent of the chefs and teams of the 69 award-winning restaurants last October,” those responsible for the Michelin Guide make clear.
