The Tata Avinya Concept shows the electric future of the brand

Tata Avinya Concept

All manufacturers have their eyes on their electric future, some have already begun the transition and others are now beginning to anticipate what is to come. This is the case of Tata, which has just presented the Tata Avinya Concept, a prototype that mixes quite varied concepts and is a sample of a production model that will arrive in 2025.

Its proposal is peculiar because it combines the format of a traditional compact with dimensions larger than normal, to the point of being able to practically be a minivan, but also sporting features of an SUV.

Overall it is a long, low and wide vehicle. The front simulates a gigantic grille that is faired, with a format of two sections framed by moldings in the lower part and by thin optical groups in the upper area. These have their identical replica at the rear, but it is the side view that has the most outstanding elements.

The wheels are huge and the body has a two-tone finish with the roof and the C-pillar in a contrasting tone, but it does without the intermediate, since the large rear doors have a suicide opening system.

They leave access to a spacious interior made up of only four seats and a minimalist driving position in which there is hardly a steering wheel with an integrated screen in its central section.

On a technical level, the Tata Avinya Concept (or the production model derived from it) will be based on the manufacturer’s Gen 3 architecture, which will allow it to have state-of-the-art technology and driving assistants.

Of its propulsion system, except that it is 100% electric, it has not given many details beyond that it will have a range of 500 kilometers per charge and that it will be compatible with fast recharges that will only take 30 minutes.

As an interesting tidbit, by the time the Tata Avinya Concept sees the light of day in 2025, Tata will have already brought eight completely new electric vehicles to market.
