The 2023 Toyota Corolla is a reality, but since the Japanese compact already performed well in general terms, Toyota has opted for an update that only tweaks the areas where its customers demanded changes. Now, the firm details the price of the entire range in all its bodies, finishes and engines.
The main novelties presented by the Toyota Corolla are an increase in power of its two engines and an improvement in on-board technology.
Regarding the first, the small version goes up from 122 to 140 hp, which makes it faster (0-100 km/h in 9.2 seconds) while maintaining both consumption and emissions, and the superior one goes from 180 to 196 CV, lowering the time it takes to reach 100 km/h from a standstill to 7.5 and also lowering its fuel consumption slightly.
As for the second, the highlight is that, together with the 12.3-inch digital panel, the center console screen will grow to 10.5 inches from the Style Plus finish, which, according to Toyota itself, is the which will bring together most of the model’s sales.
He has detailed the endowment of this level of equipment, which has 18-inch wheels, chrome exterior details, two-tone bodywork in the case of the five-door bodywork, safe exit assistant and JBL sound system with eight speakers.
The GR SPORT brings out the sporty side of the hybrid with specifically designed bumpers, 18-inch wheels and updated seats. The GR SPORT Premium version adds more equipment (10-inch head-up display, exclusive leather upholstery or panoramic roof, among others) and can optionally mount the adaptive variable suspension (AVS).
