The F1 2022 game will be free during the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix weekend. Anyone who wants it can play the full version.
We have good news! This weekend, during the United States Grand Prix, the video game F1 22 will be free and you can enjoy it for several days. Presented last July, the official championship title features all the teams, drivers and circuits on the premier class calendar.
Codemasters and EA have wanted to make a very special gift to fans of Formula 1 and video games on the occasion of the US GP, which takes place this weekend at the Austin Circuit. Between October 20 and 24, players from all over the world, users of the most popular platforms, will be able to enjoy F1 22.
The game will be available as a free trial on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam), so after a simple download, you can quickly access it and start the adventure as a pilot of F1. In the case of Xbox, the test will end on October 23.
All progress made will be saved in case the player finally buys the game; and, if you do it during the weekend, you can opt for special prices.
You will have the help of Daniel Ricciardo
New players and existing users of F1 22 will have the help of a much loved driver, Daniel Ricciardo, after the video game’s association with the charismatic Australian, very popular in the United States. The one from McLaren has created a guide with his tips, tricks and secrets to make a difference at the Austin Circuit.
Ricciardo will share with fans his technical knowledge, braking references, which are the most difficult corners, the best areas to overtake… and the players will be able to put what they have learned to the test in the Ricciardo Hot Lap Challenge. Afterwards, they will be able to post their fastest lap around the Austin circuit along with the hashtags #RicciardoChallenge and #F122gameSweepstakes.
And there are still more. On October 28, one of the participants will be randomly selected to have a virtual meeting and a race with RIcciardo himself. Unfortunately, Spain is not among the countries assigned to the promotion.
