Specifically, this Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 comes with a 5.2-liter supercharged V8, a heart that has come to offer no less than 1,204 horsepower. To achieve this power, among other things, a 3.8-liter capacity supercharger, a high-flow induction system, and new fuel injectors were installed. The dual-clutch transmission was reinforced to manage the increase in torque, since it was going to go from 760 CV as standard to 1,204 CV, and from the original 847 Nm to 1,223 Nm.
“The stock Shelby GT500 is a remarkable muscle car, but we took it to the nth degree with our Venom 1200. Our engineers were able to squeeze more than 400 additional horsepower out of the engine, taking performance to supercar levels. Only a handful of vehicles in the world offer this level of power… especially at this price,” says John Hennessey, the company’s founder.
