Over the years it is very likely that many of you have used PowerPoint to design multimedia presentations of some kind. This is a program from the Microsoft Office suite that presents us with a multitude of tools and functions to help us with these tasks.
Taking into account the importance of everything related to the multimedia world on our computers today, this is an application that cannot be left behind. Hence precisely why the software giant offers us a multitude of solutions in this regard to add to our presentations.
Here we will not only be able to use texts, since there is much other content that we can add to the different slides. We talk about photos, videos, tables, freehand drawings and much more. In fact, now we are going to show you how to take advantage of the Office drawing tools in PowerPoint. Specifically, we are going to review the easiest way to add an animation to your drawing to use it on the slides of your presentation.
Depending on the approach that remains to be demonstrated to the project that we are designing here, we can give all kinds of uses to these animations without using external programs.
Create your design in PowerPoint
To do this, at first we just have to start with a project in this Office program in a conventional way. When we get to the slide in which we are interested in including the animation, first of all we are going to create the drawing that we are going to animate later. To do this, we go to the Draw in PowerPoint tab that we find at the top of the main interface.
Here we are going to see various tools in the form of markers, pencils or paints of different shades. We only have to choose the ones we are interested in using and design our drawing freehand with the mouse pointer. Obviously our creativity is very important here when carrying out this design.
At this point we must take into consideration that each continuous line that is part of the drawing becomes an independent element of the slide. This means that we will have the ability to select and move these elements any time we need it.
Animate presentation drawings
As we mentioned before, all the objects that we draw and that are part of the personal design that we make on the slide, we can manage them independently or the entire drawing completely. Therefore, to animate each of these objects that we have added to our presentation, we only have to click on it with the mouse to select it.
Next we go to the Animations tab of the main interface of the program. With the drawing or part of the drawing selected, we only have to click on Play or Rewind to see the design process that we carried out previously on the screen. This is something we can see both ways, forward and backward.
From there we find many other animation modes that we can choose from by simply clicking on the down arrow in the Animations section. Of course, the more creative we have been with the design and the more elements we have added, the more spectacular the final animation that we will see in the presentation will be.
