Mozilla has just announced the availability of the final version of Firefox 125, which implements interesting improvements. Among other new features, it includes URL paste suggestions that allow the user to more quickly access addresses copied to the system clipboard. Additionally, it includes the ability to highlight in PDF documents and block downloads from URLs that may be untrustworthy.

The Firefox browser is positioned as the third option among Windows users, behind the popular Google Chrome and Edge, Microsoft’s browser. We are talking about an open source browser that has been available for many years and has a very good user base.

New functions and features implemented

As is usually the case with Mozilla browser updates, it comes with many improvements. Without a doubt the most interesting of all has to do with PDF documents. Now, this browser allows you to highlight parts of a PDF file, seeking to be the default browser to open these files. If you want to start exploring it, you can download it from here.

It also includes new features regarding URLs. The first is that it allows you to paste the copied addresses to the clipboard more quickly. The option to paste the copied URL will appear in the address bar when we click on this point. In addition, a system has been implemented to proactively block downloads that come from URLs that may be untrustworthy.

This implementation has been designed to offer users greater productivity. This simple element should reduce access times to new web pages that we intend to open from the browser and have selected on the system clipboard.

Another interesting novelty is that if we have a tab container extension, it will allow us to search from the address bar for the tabs open in the different containers.
