- To go to the official Snapchat website
- Next, add the corresponding data to log in
- As soon as you log in, the system automatically prompts you to change your password
- Immediately, several fields appear, where you must enter the current password (in the first box), in the second field – the new password. It is necessary that the new password contains a minimum of 8 characters, being a combination of uppercase, lowercase and numbers
- In the last field, you must confirm the new password and finally, click on the yellow button, Change password
- If your operation is successful, a message should appear on the screen that says Password has been changed!

Change the password on Snapchat from the application (Android and iOS)
- Access the Snapchat app on your mobile device
- As soon as you enter the application, you must click on the user or profile item, which is located in the upper left area.
- Immediately, different options appear regarding your stories, friends, etc.
- Press the settings icon in the upper right area
- There you will see all the alternatives that you can configure in Snapchat. You must select the Password option
- Next, you must add the current password and then click Continue
- Next, two fields appear. In the first one, you have to add the new password and the second one is to confirm the new password that you want to add to your Snapchat account.
- Finally, you just have to check Save.
- If you have done the procedure correctly, a confirmation message will appear on the screen of your device, in which it will say Your password has been updated!
Similarly, Snapchat will send a message to the email linked to the account, notifying that the password change was successful.
