Looking to customize mobile devices today is normal, so wondering if transitions and animations can be changed on Huawei is not surprising.
This phone brand knows how to innovate, from using the free antivirus that Huawei brings, to simply recording the screen on a Huawei Android cell phone.
Well, although these two characteristics are not very taken into account, they do exist and, in fact, we tend to see them almost every time we use the phone.
In this sense, they tend to be overlooked because they are thought to be predetermined and cannot be changed, which is far from the truth.
Change transitions and animations on Huawei
These are nothing more than the visual effect that is applied every time we move from one space to another from the main screen of the smartphone. It’s as simple as activating Huawei camera object tracking.
Now, most (if not all) Huawei Android devices include the ability to customize this aspect easily and without extra procedures.
To begin, the action must be located on the main screen, to be able to make a selection in the form of a pincer (with two fingers) on it.
Thus, a kind of zoom will be created and a series of tabs will appear at the bottom to choose from to customize the screen.
Of these, the third element will be chosen, or the one presented as “Transitions”. By clicking on it, the same section will be updated showing the available options.
At this point, all you have to do is choose the one you want. The good thing is that the system allows clicking on anyone to show the effect before going on to apply it.
Likewise, there will be eight transition modes, which would be: default, perspective, compress, box, flip, rotation, page and windmills.
To finish, and after determining the transition to maintain, simply touch any other side of the screen, and that’s it. In this way, we have already changed the first aspect in terms of transitions and animations in Huawei with Android.
Customize the animations
Unlike the previous procedure, to be able to make any changes in the way the animations are developed, you will have to have Root permissions.
In addition, you will have to have a file manager with the same characteristics, and it is recommended to make a backup before starting the method.
With these considerations covered, you can start customizing, and this is nothing more than changing the initial animation sequence that the computer shows when it turns on.
What must be done is to download the file, which will have to be in compressed or .zip format and place it within the aforementioned file manager.
Proceed to copy the element, and then go to the root directory of the phone, which will be marked with a slash or “/”, and then go to the “System” folder.
Within this last address, there will be another varied series of elements, of which the folder called “Etc” will be pressed.
To, then, look for another folder, but this time called “Media”, in which there will be a compressed file “Bootanimation.zip”, which is the default sequel.
In order to continue, it is advisable to make a copy of this file, in case you want to replace it, although it will also be in the security duplicate made before.
Now, we proceed to paste the compressed file that we have downloaded in the “Media” folder to be able to replace the one that was already there and the latter must be deleted.
Similarly, it will be necessary for the new file to have the same name as the one we just removed, that is “Bootanimation.zip”, it will have to be renamed if it has another.
Set the animation
In order for this to be carried out correctly, certain permissions must be granted, for which you must keep pressing on the file to be able to open the options menu.
Within this panel, the section for “Preferences” will be chosen so that the corresponding window is displayed.
Next, click on “Change” permissions, and the following must be checked: Owner in “Read” and “Write”, Group in “Read” and Others in “Read”, click “Ok” to save.
To finish, it will simply be necessary to restart the device and thus be able to verify that the change was made correctly. If so, and together with the first step by step, the transitions and animations will have already been customized in Huawei.
