Steps to copy a sheet to another Excel workbook

However, if the data is required in a new file or book, both the container and the receiver must be open. Located in the sheet to be reproduced, the cursor is moved to the bottom where the sheet panel is located.
Then right click on the sheet in question, and select the fourth option, called “Move or copy”. This will generate a new window.

- To continue, the step to be carried out consists of copying the data of the sheet that has been selected in the previous point. For that you can use “CTRL + C”
- Now open the workbook you want to paste the data into, then click the “+” sign at the bottom (the status bar) to add a new blank sheet.
- Finally, position the cursor in the first cell, to click on it and proceed to paste the information.
To achieve this, it is recommended to use the “CTRL + V” keys together, a command that will paste the data from the clipboard to the spreadsheet.
