The easiest way to create 3D text in Corel Photo Paint will be detailed below, in the following steps:
- Once the interface of our program is open, we will select the option that says “background”, located in the right panel in our work environment.
- We will color the background of the worksheet using any of the color equalizers located on the right or bottom of the workbench.
- Following that we will insert a text in our sheet by selecting the “A” shaped icon that is in the bar to the right of the interface, to this we will add the type of font, the size of the letter and we will center it on the sheet.
- Next we will select the “Perspective” icon in the upper bar and, keeping the Ctrl key + the left mouse button pressed, we will drag the text down to lay it down and towards the center to stretch it, then we click on “apply” to validate the operation.
- To give the depth, we will select the text layer and copy it a certain number of times; depending on the volume we want, as indicated in the following illustration.

- We select the last layer of the text pasted in the panel and press the “down arrow” on our keyboard to give depth to the image.
- Now keeping the first layer of the list pressed + the Shift key, we will go to the “Flatten and Distribute” window, located in the lower right corner of the panel, and we will click on “Distribute Centers Vertically”.
- We will click on the “Object Manager” window, located in the upper right part of the panel and followed by clicking on “Combine Selected Objects” and the first 3D effect of the image will appear.
- Once the objects have been combined, we will select the “volume layer” in the panel, we will go to the upper bar of the interface and click on “effects”, then “Custom” and finally on “Band Pass”.
- In the window that opens the Band Pass, we will apply a frequency and bandwidth according to our criteria, then we will click on “accept” and we will have our 3D text ready in Corel Photo Paint.
