Putting the same watermark on multiple photos can be a bit costly in popular programs like Photoshop. As a unique tool, sometimes it’s a bit complicated to set the same watermark for all images.
However, with Pixlr Editor, this task can be done easily, quickly and for free without too much hassle. Although it is not an automatic application, its manual use is very easy to understand.
When custom watermarking is done, it needs to be placed on every photo or image produced with this Editor. The process for this can be found below, thus understanding its ease.
Process to follow to create the same watermark
When you enter Pixlr Editor, you go on to open an image to which you want to place the watermark logo. To enter the logo, click on “File” and then on “Open image”, selecting the corresponding one.
To add the logo to the image in which you want to place it, click on “Edit” and then on “Copy”. Click again on “Edit” and there you will select “Paste”, being possible to change its size in “Edit” – “Free transformation”.
As soon as the size is chosen, the “Enter” key is pressed, then having to convert the image to white. This will be done in “Settings”, having to click on “Levels”, taking all the white adjustment to its maximum tone.
After pressing “Ok”, you will have the watermark ready to start making it transparent. In the “Layers” panel, on the right side of the program, click on the option with the star.
Thus, the Pixlr Editor settings for editing the layer will appear, placing the properties that are best preferred. You can organize the sizes, transparencies, borders, shadows and other common characteristics of watermarks.
After clicking on “Ok”, “Topple layer settings” is selected in the layers menu, having options to choose the opacity. After reaching the point you prefer, click on the same button again to remove the opacity handling.
The background is removed by double-clicking on the lock on its layer, having to cut out the watermark first. Its size must be taken into account, giving “Enter” so that only the area in which the mark is is taken.
The image layer is removed from the layers menu by dragging it to the trash can and only the watermark will be visible. Click on “File” and then “Save”, selecting the PNG format to save the transparency, giving it the name you prefer.
It is important that the watermark is saved in a folder and with a name that distinguishes it from the rest of the files.
Process to follow to place the same watermark on several photographs or images
Once all previously opened windows are closed, you are returned to the Pixlr Editor home page. It happens to open all the images at the same time in which you want to place the same watermark.
If they have different sizes, you may have to edit the size of the watermark for each one. The same happens with its transparency, so these characteristics can be changed for each image or photograph.
After selecting all the photographs or images, the “Open” option is selected, having all of them in their corresponding tabs. Then the same process is done with the established watermark, opening it in a different tab.
In that tab, click on “Edit”, then select “Copy” and close the window where the watermark was. Thus, the watermark is pasted on the first photograph and the necessary modifications are made to your needs.
After editing the watermark, the final result of the edition is saved. The whole process can also involve professional editing improvements that will take place in general.
The use of Pixlr Editor tools is easy to do, so this task is consistent with the editing processes in general.
