Gmail is the most widely used email platform in the world. Much of the success that has allowed this platform to be the leader in the number of email accounts is the large number of functions and the 15 GB of space it offers, a space that is shared with Google Photos and Google Drive, therefore that, if we use more platforms, the final space we have is less.
If we don’t have 15 GB of space to start with, we have two options. The first involves contracting storage space, something that many users are not willing to do. The second is to change the platform and use one that offers us more space. Of all the options available Yahoo! Mail is the one that offers us the largest space with 1 TB.
What does Yahoo! Email
If you show needs are not very high in terms of functions, Yahoo! Mail is a more than interesting option to take into account, since it allows us to store emails without worrying about reaching the maximum storage limit.
Regarding the functions that Yahoo! Mail we find practically the same that we can find in both Gmail and Outlook, including automatic responses, filter creation, automatic archiving and much more.
Like Outlook and Gmail, the Yahoo! it also displays advertising. Taking into account that, in many countries, such as Spain, it is the only service offered by this platform, it should not surprise us that the advertising displayed is much higher than the alternatives from Microsoft and Google.
It is not only displayed in the right panel of the browser, but also in the form of an email in our inbox, yes, correctly identified as with the AD label to be able to distinguish it quickly. Shortly after starting to use this platform, you quickly identify what the emails are and they do not become a nuisance to use Yahoo! Mail.
Worth?
The main problem of Yahoo! It is not integrated into any other platform to create documents as Outlook offers us with Office Online or Gmail with Google Docs. Bearing in mind that it is currently only focusing its efforts on Japan, future plans do not involve offering this type of solution.
But, if what we really need is space to store emails, we are not going to find any other platform that offers us so much storage space in exchange for a few ads in our inbox.
Like any other email platform worth its salt, we can use any application to manage the emails we receive or send through Yahoo! Mail. Although it is true that we can make use of the application available in the Play Store and App Store, it lacks some functions that are only available via the web and that are available in other applications.
