Royal Enfield launches two exclusive versions of its successful Twins onto the market; the Interceptor and Continental GT 650 120th Anniversary Special Edition.

A limited production of only 480 units has been made for the whole world, so these 120th Anniversary editions are authentic collector’s pieces.

And a pride for the brand since, as Siddhartha Lal, CEO of Eicher Motors Ltd, comments:

“Few brands can celebrate the storied legacy that Royal Enfield has enjoyed over the last century, and the best way to celebrate this milestone is to share some of that legacy with our customers around the world.”

And on the choice of the Interceptor and the Continental GT as representatives of the 120th Anniversary Editions:

“Both the Interceptor as the Continental GT they are as successful around the world today as they were in the 1960s, and they truly represent our heritage of making motorcycles simple and fun.”

A wise choice if we take into account that both models inspired by the legendary Interceptor 750 and Continental GT 250 of the 1960s have been vital for the global expansion of the brand in recent years.

120th Anniversary Edition

These 120th Anniversary Edition models have been designed and handcrafted by the Royal Enfield teams in the UK and India.

The exclusive black chrome color of the tank has been developed in the workshops of Royal Enfield’s original manufacturing plant in Thiruvottiyur, Chennai, India.

To match the black chrome color of the tank, other parts such as the engine and exhausts have been darkened, along with other elements that will present a wide range of black tones for the first time.

They also equip a wide range of original accessories in black, such as windshields, engine guards, handlebar end mirrors…

They will wear on their tanks a very special cast brass badge, made in collaboration with the multi-generational ‘Sirpi Senthil’ family of artisans, originally from the shrine town of Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu (India).

This badge shows the special serial number of each motorcycle, indicating that each one of them is 1 of the 60 exclusive units that have been put on sale in each of the markets: Europe, India, Southeast Asia and the Americas.

The side panels are also adorned with a commemorative decal commemorating Royal Enfield’s 120-year history. And of course, both models also incorporate the classic and elegant Royal Enfield hand-painted filleting on their tanks.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor and Continental GT 650 120th Anniversary Special Edition can only be purchased through an online sale that has been marked for the day March 7, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. through the official website of Royal Enfield.

At a price of €9,600 for the Interceptor 650 120th Anniversary and €9,800 for the Continental GT 650 120th Anniversary
