Video: this is how the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV reaches 269 km/h on the Autobahn

In the following video you can see how the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV reaches 269 km/h on a stretch of the German Autobahn with no speed limit.

Although the Alfa Romeo Giulia has been on the market since 2015, it is still a saloon capable of offering great performance and all the sportiness that characterizes the Italian manufacturer, especially in the Quadrifoglio version. A good example of this can be found in this video, where you will see how the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV reaches 269 km/h on a section of the Autobahn.

The video is courtesy of the YouTube channel AutoTopNL, who decided to once again test the impressive qualities of the Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde (QV) in one of the no-speed zones on the German motorway. The particularity of this unit is that it is equipped with an exhaust system signed by Akrapovic that gives it a very special note of sound.

This exhaust system is linked to the well-known 2.9-liter biturbo V6 engine of Ferrari origin. This six-cylinder mechanics develops a power of 510 CV at 6,500 rpm and has a torque of 600 Nm that offers between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm.

Linked to this powerful mechanics is an eight-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter that sends energy directly to the rear axle. The result is a 0 to 100 km/h that it completes in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 307 km/h, enough specifications to stand up to the BMW M3.

In the video you will be able to see what the Giulia QV is capable of, testing its acceleration from a standstill, the recovery from a certain speed and its maximum speed in this attempt, which remains at a respectable 269 km/h, although they are still somewhat far from the 307 km/h that, theoretically, the Italian sports saloon is capable of registering.

Do not miss the video to enjoy its features accompanied by the addictive melody that emanates from its Akrapovic exhaust system.
