We are just a couple of days away from the beginning of the month of June, one that is chosen by many to start their vacations. This implies that there will be more free time to watch all kinds of series and movies, and for that we have platforms like Disney+ that have a huge catalog of them. In the case of the Disney platform, it has already presented its list of releases for this new month, and in this article we show it to you in its entirety.
The most outstanding premiere of the month is a new series from the Marvel factory. We are talking about Ms. Marvel, a series starring a character who had not appeared in any movie until now: Kamala Khan. Below you can see all the premieres that await you during June.
Movie premieres on Disney Plus
In the first days of the month, specifically on June 3, the original movie Stargirl in Hollywood arrives on Disney +. This is the sequel to the Stargirl Caraway movie that hit the platform in 2020 and was a huge success. In it we will be able to see Stargirl’s journey from Mica, Arizona, to a new world full of music, dreams and possibilities. The film takes place this time in Los Angeles, and here we will see how Stargirl becomes friends with a very diverse group of people.
The same day of the month will hit the platform Fire Island, a film that takes place in a gay vacation destination on the coast of Long Island, New York. We are going to find a romantic movie that offers a multicultural view of the queer world that is worth not missing. It is one of the wide options that arrive on the platform this month for Pride Month.
We’ll have to wait until June 24 to see Overcoming: The Antetokounmpo Family Story. In this original Disney+ movie we are going to be able to learn more about the Antetokounmpo family, which if you like basketball and the NBA you will know that it is the family of Giannis, one of the best basketball players in the world.
