If you want to share a video to promote your Facebook page for free, click on the “Share” button with the icon in the form of a bent arrow, located below the video, pressing it will show 3 options; one of them is to share in a group, another is to do the same thing on a page and the last one is generic but shows more options than the others.
The option that interests us is “Share” and pressing it will open a window with a selection list where we will have several options at our disposal; we can choose “Share in a group” and then an empty field with the title “Group” will be displayed, where we will write all the Facebook groups where the video will be published.
It is good to know that you can only share publications in groups and pages where you are affiliated, if you want to do it in a new one you first have to send an affiliation request and wait for the administrator to accept your request so that you can promote your video on Facebook.
When you start writing the name of the group, the Facebook suggestion will automatically appear below the text field and once the group has been selected you will be able to add a comment to your video that will be seen in its description; You can do this operation up to a recommended maximum of 10 times.
When you select all the groups you will be able to publish your video by clicking on the blue button with the text “Publish”, then you will see a message indicating that it was shared correctly; once shared, people will be able to reproduce it, give it a “Like”, visit your page and you will be able to know who visits your profile; They can also share it and tag friends in the video.
Share and promote a video to other social networks
To publish your video on other social networks from Facebook, you just have to go to the top of it and press the button with the 3 points (…) where the menu of additional options is displayed and select where it says “See more options” , then click the “Show on Screen” button to display a screen with just the video.
At the top of the window there is a gear-shaped icon, when pressed, two options are displayed and click where it says “See complete publication”; A new tab opens in the browser with the video, with a URL at the top that corresponds exclusively to said material and through which you can share it on other social networks.
We recommend that you do not share videos to more than 10 groups or pages so that they do not classify your messages as spam for sending unwanted material to users in bulk; For this reason, it is best to select the most appropriate groups for the video according to its theme and that also have at least 10,000 affiliates, in order to develop effective marketing.
