Not all users use the browser for the same thing. While some use it to search on Google or Bing, others use it to check their social networks, work from the browser, for topics related to games such as Twitch or Discord, to name the most popular and well-known tools.
Although we may initially think that all browsers serve the same purpose, and this is actually the case, not all of them are optimized to perform the same tasks. A clear example of this is Chrome, the browser that offers the best performance when using Google Docs.
Another example is Opera GX, one of Opera’s two browsers, a browser optimized for gamers that allows you to control CPU, RAM, and network usage and includes support for Twitch and Discord in the sidebar, so these platforms are always available in the background without consuming any of your computer’s resources.
We can’t forget the gamer aesthetics through different themes and the large number of customization options that it offers users, both in the PC version and for mobile devices. As if the functions that Opera GX already offers weren’t enough, it has just been updated to give more prominence to AI.
New AI features for Opera GX
Opera’s browsers, both Opera GX and Opera One, include the Aria assistant, an Artificial Intelligence assistant that can generate text based on a description.
With the update that Opera GX has just received, Aria is now also able to generate images based on a description, allowing the possibility of uploading an image stored on the computer to work with it.
Furthermore, once the result is displayed, we can work with it to modify the aspects of the generated image that we do not like, interacting with the text chat. It is not necessary to have knowledge of prompt creation, the only thing necessary is to know what we want to do so that Aria can do it.
The Aria image generation feature available in Opera GX is also very useful when we want to know where a photo was taken, what type of product is shown and obtain the maximum information about them.
Another interesting and very useful feature that Opera’s AI has also received is the ability to read the content generated through Artificial Intelligence. This feature is especially useful when we find ourselves stuck in a phase of a game from which we don’t know how to get out.
Instead of searching the Internet, we can delegate this function to Aria and, when it finds the answer, it will read it out loud while displaying the game in full screen, without having to switch between the game and the browser.
For Twitch and YouTube streamers, the new chat summary feature with Aria is fantastic. You can also use this feature when you access a web page where the content you are looking for is located, but you don’t have time to read it all.
