As part of the growing sector of software focused on instant messaging, WhatsApp is the preferred option for most. There are other very interesting alternatives such as Telegram, but it is still far from the platform of the Meta firm.
In fact, this is an official application that we find on most mobile devices around the world. In addition, it is important to take into account that its use is beginning to spread significantly among desktop computers. Thus, we can use the official WhatsApp clients for Windows or use the web version.
Many of you probably already know that everything you do on your mobile is synchronized on the PC version, and vice versa. This way, you can stay in touch instantly with friends and family while working on Windows, for example. We normally use WhatsApp both in professional and personal environments.
But at the same time, we also come across certain contacts with whom we do not wish to have any relationship. And surely others that we have added to our account, feel the same way about us. That is precisely what the blocking function that anyone can carry out in this messaging application is for. But whether out of curiosity or for some other reason, we may be interested in knowing which of our contacts have blocked us.
It is important to note that when we block someone or they block us, the affected person does not receive any notification. This means that if our friend or family member blocks us on WhatsApp, we will not find out about it at first.
Check who has blocked you on WhatsApp
So, if you’ve been wondering who has blocked you on WhatsApp, we’re going to give you a useful solution. The platform itself doesn’t have any function in this regard, so we’re going to use another built-in feature that will help us with these tasks, as we’ll see now.
To find out first-hand which contacts have blocked us in the messaging application, we are going to use the function called New Broadcast. This is a tool integrated into the official client that allows us to communicate with multiple contacts in our WhatsApp address book at the same time.
We access this tool through the button located in the upper right corner of the main interface, where we already find the corresponding entry. At that moment, a list of all the contacts that are part of our address book in the application will appear on the screen. We have the option of selecting all of them or choosing those that we suspect are currently blocking us.
Once we have sent some kind of message to all the selected contacts, we can now know who are the ones who have blocked us. If the message in question shows two grey sticks, the text has reached the contact. If it only shows one and never changes, we already know that that user has blocked us in the past.
