There is always one operator above the rest in terms of favoritism among customers. And, in this case, the Spanish telecom is positioned above the rest of the brands that can be contracted throughout Spain. Orange, Vodafone, Movistar, Digi… there are several operators that are currently competing to see who can add the most customers. Although, according to a latest report, the blue operator leads in up to 13 autonomous communities.
Not all telephone companies are liked equally. For some, the most important thing is to pay as little as possible for their fiber or mobile rates and combined plans, while others prefer to pay more to have the best quality of service. And if we put it best, there are clients who want these two points at the same time, something that is not always achieved, but is not impossible.
In any case, the Deyde Datacentric report shows which is the favorite company in each autonomous community of Spain. And, as we already mentioned, Movistar is ahead of the rest. Therefore, in terms of preferences, it seems that the blue operator continues to be in the lead despite the constant price increases in recent years, as is the case with its two major competitors: Vodafone and Orange.
The national top 3 with Movistar in front
Within the enormous set of operators currently available to Spanish users, the truth is that these data reflect a reality: the large telecoms continue to lead among customers. Not only at the level of numbers in terms of the number of users they have in their respective portfolios, but also because of the preferences that people have when hiring a telephone company.
One of the clearest examples is the Spanish operator Movistar, which is in first position by adding 22.6% of the votes. Hence, it is the preferred telecom in 13 territories: Community of Madrid, Castilla – La Mancha, Extremadura, Castilla y León, Galicia, Basque Country, Cantabria, Catalonia, Aragon, Region of Murcia, Canary Islands, Balearic Islands and the autonomous city from Ceuta. According to Deyde Datacentric, “the operator continues to gain ground, improving its positioning year after year.”
Who is in second place? Well, in this case, it is Vodafone that occupies second place within the national top 3 of favorite operators in the Spanish communities. On the part of the red operator, it continues to lead in different areas, specifically in three communities: Valencian Community, La Rioja and Navarra, in addition to the autonomous city of Melilla.
Thirdly, but no less important, Orange is the favorite throughout Andalusia. The orange operator is at the forefront in this territory. So it is in third position within the top of the most preferred telephone companies among Spanish customers. And as a special mention, this report also talks about the teleco Telecable, which belongs to the MasOrange Group. More than anything because this company, although it is not part of the top 3 favorite brands nationwide, the truth is that it is the most liked option among Asturians.
