For a few days now, the majority of the software giant’s operating system community has been talking about the latest Windows 11 update, 24H2. This is a recently released version that has been long awaited and is finally available to all users with compatible equipment.

Hence, the aforementioned 24H2 update that is being rolled out to everyone, has several AI features that you will surely find extremely interesting, and others that will arrive.

Improvements in photos. In this case we want to focus on the image super-resolution function that we will soon find in the Windows 11 Photos application. It allows us to enlarge the image up to 8 times its original resolution with hardly any loss of quality. The feature will use local AI models to upscale the image without affecting the original.
Click To Do. This is another clever tool that adds an overlay element to the screen. This appears at the top of it when the function is invoked. It is something similar to an assistant that remains at the top of the screen to help us when we need it. It analyzes the content of the screen and presents us with additional actions depending on what we are seeing.
Erase and fill in Paint. This popular application, which has been with us for years and is part of Windows, now has smart functions. Paint will have the ability to erase and fill generatively using Windows AI. This will give us the opportunity to select an area and use the erase function to remove it and blend the image as if there was nothing in the original. Similarly, the fill function will help us add elements to the loaded image.
