Steps to create a free Babbel account from PC:

1. Open your favorite browser and in the address bar type the following URL www.babbel.com.
2. Once you enter the Babbel portal, the first thing to do to start the registration process is to click on the orange button “Create an account” in the upper right corner.
3. In the new window you must select the language you want to learn, to do so click on that language.
4. Now you must choose the reason why you want to learn that new language, there are 7 different options, among them you can choose “For school”, “For an upcoming trip”, “I need it for my job” or “Other”.
5. In this step you must tell Babbel how much you know of the language you selected, you can choose between “Not much”, “Some” or “A lot”.
6. Select the time you would like to invest to learn the selected language; you can choose between “5 minutes a day”, “15 minutes a day”, “30 minutes a day”, “60 minutes a day” or “I don’t know yet”.
7. Now you must choose the age range that corresponds to you.
8. Babbel will give you a series of options so that you indicate where you found the website, choose the option that corresponds to your circumstance.

9. Type your name in the box provided and click “Continue.”

10. Enter your email address and click the orange “Continue” button. If you don’t have an email, you can create one in Gmail.

11. Create a password that has a minimum of 6 characters, this password must be composed of numbers, special characters and letters. Click the “Create an account” button.

12. To finish the registration process you must enter your email and look for the email sent by Babbel to confirm your email.
13. When you open the email sent by Babbel you must click on the orange button “Confirm e-mail”; you will immediately be redirected to your Babbel account.
14. Once inside your account you must click on the word Babbel in the upper left corner to configure your profile data.

1. Download the Babbel app on your mobile device or tablet from Google Play or the App Store.

2. Once the app is downloaded, enter it.
