Watch and replay Apple livestream
As an Apple fan, you naturally want to watch the livestream of the next Apple keynote and watch the announcement of the latest products afterwards. You can watch the Apple livestream via the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, but also with a Windows or Android device and via the Chrome and Firefox browsers (via this link). This also applies to the livestream of the October Mac event.
Almost all Apple events can be followed entirely online. The live streams usually start at 7:00 PM Dutch time, but this is different for the upcoming event: you have to be ready at 1:00 AM Dutch time, on the night of October 30 to 31. The keynote can also be viewed on Apple’s website and in the Apple TV app.

You don’t want to miss Apple’s announcements
Of course you can count on iCulture to keep you informed of the Apple Events. As soon as Apple introduces new updates and more, you can read all about it in articles on iCulture and respond to them. We have an extensive live blog and afterwards we also publish a summary of the event. You can also watch the event again with us.
This time the livestream of an Apple event starts in the middle of the night, at 1:00 AM Dutch time on October 31. This is an unusual time, as Apple events are normally held at 7:00 PM Dutch time. The reason for this is unclear, but it does mean that you have to stay awake until late if you want to follow everything live. Is it too late anyway? Then you can of course also watch the video later. As always, this is a pre-recorded video that will be livestreamed via the usual channels.
Don’t forget to enable push notifications for the iCulture website.
If you have difficulty following the announcements (“What did he say again?”), then you have come to the right place on our site: we will list all dates, specs, prices and functions for you as soon as possible . We naturally pay extra attention to availability in the Netherlands and Belgium. Stay tuned to iCulture in the days after the event: you can read various background and explanation articles about the most important announcements.
Follow the live stream on Apple devices
If you own an Apple device, it is very simple to follow the keynote. Below we explain how to get the livestream working on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, MacBook, iMac and multiple generations of Apple TV.
Watch a Mac event livestream on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
You can follow the live stream on your iDevice. Apple has set up a special page for people who want to watch the livestream via an iDevice or Mac. To do this, just before the live stream starts, go to the live stream page in the mobile Safari browser. So you don’t need a separate app. You can optionally send the images to a television screen via AirPlay, but you can also use the Apple TV for this.
You can also watch via the TV app, which is installed as standard on every iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and iPod touch. On the day of the keynote you will find the livestream for the event there. It is also possible to watch via this YouTube link, simply from the YouTube app.
Watch Apple event livestream on Mac and Windows
You can also watch the live stream on the Mac and Windows PCs from the website. To do this you must meet one of the following points:
- Mac with at least OS X 10.8.5 and at least Safari 6.0.5
- Windows PC with Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge (see below for older Windows versions).
- A computer with Firefox or Chrome browser.
Another way to watch on your Mac is through the TV app. You can also look back at everything there after the presentation.
Watch Apple livestream on Apple TV
If you prefer to watch the live stream on the large TV screen, you can do so via the Apple TV. Take into account the generation of Apple TV you have:
- You can watch the event on the Apple TV HD (Apple TV 4) and Apple TV 4K via the Apple TV app. This is installed by default on every Apple TV with the latest version of tvOS. Apple previously used the Events app, but that is no longer the case since June 2020. You can also watch via the YouTube app.
- You can watch the event on the Apple TV 2 and 3 via the special channel. The channel will appear automatically if your Apple TV has installed at least software update 6.2.
- It is not possible to watch the live stream on the Apple TV 1.
Don’t see anything in the TV app? Apple usually sets up the livestream about 10 minutes before the presentation starts. So switch on just before the presentation starts.
Don’t see the channel on the Apple TV 2 or 3? Then it might be marked as hidden. You can change this at General > Parental Controls. There you look for the special Apple channel, after which you press the confirmation button to show it again. It may also be that the Apple TV channel has not yet been set up by Apple. The channel is only visible when there is a special event.
Live stream via YouTube
Apple has been broadcasting a live stream via YouTube for several years. This way, the live stream is available on many more platforms than before: basically on any device on which you can watch YouTube. You can set a reminder so that you are warned in time when it starts.
Follow the live stream on your smart TV
You can also easily watch on the big screen if you don’t have an Apple TV. You then open the YouTube app on your smart TV and go to Apple’s channel. There you will find the live stream of the event ready.
If your television also has Apple’s TV app, such as recent models from Samsung and LG, you can also watch via that app. On the day of the keynote, you open the app and you will automatically see the live stream ready. Afterwards you can also watch the presentation there.
iPhone event livestream reminder via X (Twitter)
Another way to follow the event is via X (Twitter). Apple does not plan to offer the entire event as a livestream there. Apple will publish a post to remind you to follow the livestream. There is also a special hash flag if you use the hashtag #AppleEvent. You will then see an Apple logo next to the hashtag.
Also follow it @iCulture account, where we highlight all important announcements.
Follow the live stream of the Apple event via Windows or Android
If you don’t have an Apple device or a Windows 10 PC at home, but you want to follow the livestream, that is also possible. Below we explain how it works on older devices and on an Android device.
Watch Apple Mac event livestream via Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP
If you have an old PC with an older Windows version, you can also watch the live stream via the official YouTube link. You then simply view the event via the browser of your choice. Any browser where you can watch YouTube is suitable for the presentation.
Watch Apple livestream with Android
Android users can use the YouTube link to watch the event, just like on Windows. You watch the live stream of the iPhone event in the YouTube app. If you don’t have the YouTube app on your Android device, you can simply watch the video in the browser.
