On many occasions we use the websites we visit on the Internet to search for all types of content in the form of texts, photos or videos that we can download. But things are not always as easy as we would like, especially if we focus on this last file format when using Google Chrome.
We refer, as it could not be otherwise, to the videos. In most cases, extracting the text from a web page or downloading an image it contains is not usually complicated. Normally we can use the Save As function to store most of the photos on our PC disk, or copy the texts directly. However, when we focus on the videos, things change substantially.
We tell you all this because a good part of the websites we visit, including social networks or streaming platforms, usually have this download feature blocked. However, we always have the possibility of bypassing these restrictions for downloading multimedia content. For example, we can use this useful extension for the Google browser and thus download the videos that we find during browsing sessions.
