The Nintendo Switch 2 will support 4K resolution
The Chinese manufacturer Mobapad, an expert in leaks, has published a new post in which it indicates that the Nintendo Switch 2 would be considering the possibility of introducing 4K resolution in its games through its dock. That is, the Ultra High Definition output would only be compatible with televisions that support this format, so for the moment it would be ruled out that the console screen obtains said resolution. Likewise, it would be accompanied by an important incentive, compatibility with NVIDIA DLSS to improve gaming performance and achieve the highest possible image quality.
It has also been described that the base on which the new Nintendo will be placed will not be far from the current machine, so in this case it may be that its appearance will even be copied from that of the Nintendo Switch OLED.
Although the arrival of the 4K format to the Nintendo Switch 2 may be quite a feat, the truth is that the best consoles already on the market, such as PS5 and Xbox Series that resolution on certain occasions, so the big N hybrid is not expected to surpass them by any means, simply because the internal components will be more modest.
