As presenter, My Perdition will feature the work of Álvaro Augusto, a well-known screenwriter who has written documentaries such as Samantha Hudson or Terenci: La fabulation infinite. As we indicated, each program will address a different topic that offers the opportunity to share all types of data, opinions and information. The first will be dedicated to musicals and will surely provide high-level entertainment while we delve into the film-loving concerns of the participants. Later there will be programs dedicated to other topics, such as teen cinema that triumphed in the 2000s or films that have love triangles as the main ingredient.

In addition to giving their opinions and comments, the guests of each program will delve into the way in which their work is carried out within Filmin. This will provide us with closer contact with the operation of this streaming platform that is generating more and more interest.

A podcast every Friday

The second podcast is a little different, since it will be shorter, but will be broadcast every Friday. Its title will be Screenshot and it will be presented by Ainhoa Marzol and Ander Puig. In it we can enjoy the way in which these professionals will share their own “screenshots” of pop culture and how it influences the world of cinema.

Different points of view and communication styles will be touched on so that the experience provided by the podcast is as original as possible. It will be published starting June 7 and its programs will have traces of Internet trends, social networks, memes, as well as the way in which we turn to cinema with the intention of energizing our lives in all kinds of ways. From what we have been able to read, it is going to be a podcast capable of surprising on many levels.

The covers of the first original Filmin podcasts

These programs have materialized as a result of the collaboration that Filmin and Radio Primavera Sound have maintained for years. It is an interesting step forward that stands out from everything we have seen so far on streaming platforms, so we must applaud the initiative and hope that it enjoys a good amount of success.

We must also not forget that Filmin, although it is not the most popular platform, has a high-volume catalog of films that, as we mentioned before, exceeds even that of the market leaders.
