This doesn’t mean that Google will start sending emails with messages about shared files that we haven’t seen. Google Drive will only send a message when the conditions I mentioned above are met. While some of the functions that Google implements cannot be deactivated, this will not be the case in this case, since from the Google Drive configuration options we can deactivate this function, specifically within the Settings > Notifications section.
