Every year, when Spotify launches the Wrapper, people share on social networks the statistics of the music they have listened to during the year. This is a great marketing strategy for the company, since it allows them to obtain brutal visibility at no cost. Now, you can get ahead of Spotify Wrapper and see everything you’ve listened to thanks to Stats.fm.

Few things are more representative than the music we listen to in our daily lives. Surely at work, during the commute from work to home (and vice versa) or when you play sports, you listen to music and there are songs and artists that are repeated.

If you want to share your musical preferences with your friends, acquaintances or family, now you can without waiting for the Wrapper. We are going to explain to you in a simple way how you can obtain this information and share it. You can also share it on social networks with all your followers.

Don’t wait for Spotify Wrapped thanks to this application

At the end of the year, Spotify shows us the statistics of the music we have been listening to. The app collects our history and packages it into a set of stories. The problem is, precisely, that it is all the information for the year. We cannot periodically monitor the most listened to topics or our current trends.

There is a much better alternative and it is the Stats.fm app. Simply put, it is a kind of Wrapped that is much more complete and with more information. It allows us to know more precisely what we have been listening to in the previous month or the last six months.

The application shows us the most listened to songs, artists, albums and even genres. Stats.fm even shows us the songs we’ve heard recently, in case we want to play them again. They are a very interesting set of data that allows us to delve deeper into our tastes and search for artists or topics that are within our favorite genre, for example.

We must highlight that some functions and features are paid. Although the application gives us a lot of information at no cost, some sections and some options are paid. It is not a major problem, since it only “obfuscates” the possibility of seeing the albums that we have played the most or choosing certain periods of time. Regarding the statistics, these do not show them in full, since part of them are only accessible in the paid version.

Obtaining all this data is very simple, we just have to log in with the Spotify account. Thus, the Stats.fm application will be able to show us our musical preferences in a simple and complete way. It cannot be done through the web, it is necessary to download and install the application on your smartphone. It has a version of the application for Android and another for iOS.

Stats.fm offers three payment methods to unlock all options. It offers us a renewable plan every six months for 4.79 euros, an annual plan for 7.49 euros or buy the Premium forever for 16.99 euros. It should be noted that, seeking to get people to pay, they offer initial offers that reduce the six-month plan to 2.39 euros, the annual plan to 3.39 euros and the lifetime plan to 5.99 euros.

The truth is that the application is good and interesting, but paying for it doesn’t seem interesting to me.
