This 15th edition has been attended by the main managers of the telecommunications industry and has been awarded a special mention to DIRCOM of the year and to Security.
The 15th Edition of the ADSLZone Awards took place this October 30 at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Hotel in Madrid. During the course of this gala, each of the 2024 awards have been presented, among which are the usual awards for the best operators, devices and brands. In the special category, José María Álvarez-Pallete, President of Telefónica, Laura Bárcena, DIRCOM of Samsung Spain, and the UCO – Civil Guard have been awarded.
The best operators in 2024
One of the great keys to each of the different editions of the ADSLZone Awards are the operators. There is a fairly significant number of awards aimed at the work that telecos have done each year.
The first winner in the world of operators is Finetwork, all thanks to its important work as a Low Cost operator with its new strategy in cheap rates. Within the same field of economic options, the best Low Cost fiber offer 2024 has been for Jazztel. In this case, for its fiber optic-only plan for customers looking for a connection speed of 300 Mbps.
Digi manages to obtain the fastest fiber network during 2024. However, the award for Best mobile operator 2024 has gone to Vodafone. And in relation to mobile rates, the award for Best 5G network has been awarded to Movistar.
For those who prefer to contract a more complete package, the MasMovil operator is the one that receives the award for Best convergent, telco and energy operator 2024. Although, there is no doubt that customer opinion matters, and for that reason, the award The Operator most valued by its customers this year has been awarded to Pepephone, which once again reinforces that good reputation for the way it treats its subscribers.
In addition, there are other notable winners such as the Best OTT Television of 2024, which goes to Movistar with its Movistar Plus+ television service. And finally, Orange takes home the award for Best Device Strategy.
Award-winning brands in other categories
Not all awards are intended for the telecommunications sector. During the ADSLZone 2024 Awards gala, different awards have been distributed in a multitude of categories: from the best Smart TV of the year, which goes to the Samsung QN900D Neo QLED 8K model, to the Best Wearable, which goes to the Huawei Watch Gt 5 Pro.
It is impossible to forget the different awards within the Best Smartphone, which are awarded for some of its most relevant characteristics: the best camera, for Xiaomi 14; the best foldable, for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6; best premium range mobile for Motorola Razr 50 ultra and best AI camera for VIVO X200 Pro, among others. In addition, there is also Lenovo, which wins three different awards: Best Professional Laptop, Best 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop, and Best Laptop with AI.
Among the services that have won an award during this gala, NordVPN’s great work stands out in offering additional protection for its users’ connections. Nord Pass, for its part, is recognized as Best Online Security App of the Year.
