The large telecommunications companies have turned to the victims who have suffered the damage caused by the heavy torrential rains and quickly launched an extraordinary procedure to provide unlimited gigabytes to all their clients who are experiencing this omen.

In recent hours, Movistar, MasOrange and Vodafone have each sent recovery reports on their communication networks that were intercepted by last week’s storm. Although they claim to have recovered much of their infrastructure in the areas most affected by DANA, the truth is that several locations are still exposed without the possibility of contacting their loved ones.

Movistar continues with cuts in 6 areas

Movistar, one of the largest Spanish telephone companies, has updated the locations in which it is currently operational after having witnessed communication outages in practically most of the towns that suffered the consequences of the meteorological phenomenon that devastated the Mediterranean coast. of the country.

Specifically, the operator led by José María Álvarez-Pallete has warned on its social networks that it is currently working to restore communication on its telephone and Internet networks in 6 damaged areas, using Cheste, famous for having the MotoGP World Championship circuit that was to have held the last race, now completely destroyed.

But technical problems have also been found in other districts, a total of 6 in addition to Cheste:

MasOrange recovers close to 80%

Another company that has come to the fore to get back on track in the coastal area of ​​Valencia is MasOrange. Reliable sources of the joint venture claim to have solved a good section of its coverage network, recovering around 80% of all the damaged areas, leaving behind the 65% that they managed to correct a couple of days ago, which is why the mobile network with two portable mobile stations. Vodafone restores 8.5% of its landlines and mobile lines

Vodafone Spain has distributed several mobile units for each of the destroyed lands blamed on the work to expand coverage, especially in Paiporta (ground zero), but, at the same time, it highlights the lack of electricity that prevents access to Internet in certain areas.
