There is an operator that does not stop releasing new features. It seems that the month of April belongs to Xenet, and all because it has not stopped surprising its customers with the renewal and improvement of its mobile rates. If a few weeks ago it announced the improvement of its mobile plans with Orange coverage, including up to 5G, now it is the turn of mobile-only rates with Movistar coverage.

Among the MVNOs with cheap rates, Xenet seems to have wanted to stand out this month with the constant renewal of its mobile rates. If at the beginning of the month the plans with Orange coverage were changed and just a few days ago the premiere of 5G was confirmed at those same rates, now the low-cost operator continues to focus on improving its catalog. Hence, the plans with Movistar coverage have been improved, even surpassing the cheap prices of Digi, another of the operators with this same coverage and low prices.

Cheaper and with more GB

The operator Xenet matches mobile rates with Orange and Movistar coverage. First, it opted to renew the mobile-only plans in which the French operator’s network is enjoyed, and now it is the turn of the rates with 4G+ coverage of the blue operator. However, the plans with the Movistar network were one point higher in terms of price, in addition to also having a smaller number of GB. However, from now on this has changed forever in the low cost OMV catalogue.

Xenet’s mobile rates with Movistar coverage are renewed, and these are the changes that you will notice from now on in its mobile catalog:

  • 20 GB and unlimited calls for €5.90 (price and GB remain the same).
  • 50 GB and unlimited calls for €8 (previously 30 GB for €9 per month).
  • 100 GB and unlimited calls for €9 (previously it was 80 GB for €12 per month).
  • 150 GB and unlimited calls for €12 (before it was 120 GB for €15).

Xenet rates with Movistar coverage

Therefore, not only is the price of mobile-only plans with the Movistar network lowered, but the GB available in its rates is also increased. In fact, these plans are equal in both mobile gigabytes and prices with the Xenet rates that use the Orange mobile network.

For now without 5G

Even though they cost less right now and have more GB available, the truth is that there are still two differences that are key compared to plans with Orange coverage: they do not have 5G and they do not allow mobile gigabytes to be accumulated. Two aspects that make the difference, especially when contracting one of their mobile-only rates.

Even so, they become the cheapest options if you are looking to use the blue operator coverage. For example, if you take a look at the Digi catalogue, one of the cheapest, you can contract 30 GB for €10, while at Xenet you can enjoy 100 GB for €9. However, the difference once again is that data cannot be accumulated and Movistar’s 5G network cannot be enjoyed. But, the truth is that the price drop is noticeable.
