This came about through a recent update to the open source suite we mentioned. But it seems that the company wants to continue surprising us with its new features in this regard. That is why we are now going to talk about another of the most anticipated tools of recent times and that we will soon be able to install and use. Thus, we will be able to use ZoomIt to enlarge a certain section that appears on the screen. At the same time, it will allow us to make notes in that same part, make freehand drawings, insert text, etc. In addition, it is worth noting that the tool itself allows us to record these presentations or display timers.

All this without consuming any of the computer’s own resources and being part of the PowerToys at no cost. It even works on Windows-based computers that are compatible with touch screens, which increases its usefulness significantly.

In parallel, this suite of Microsoft tools will also soon receive the so-called New+ function. Basically, this will allow us to create files and folders using custom templates. All this will add new entries in the Windows context menu to carry out actions such as copying or moving files, creating a new folder with highlighted items, copying images to the clipboard, etc.

Although we don’t yet know the exact release date of these tools, they shouldn’t take long. They are currently in the testing phase and will soon be available in the stable versions of PowerToys.
