Pluto TV is a platform with online DTT channels and many more, and with very diverse on-demand content for all tastes. It is a free and legal alternative to conventional television or Netflix, Prime Video or other paid services. In exchange for watching its content without paying a single euro, you have to watch some ads, but it is not too invasive. That makes it an ideal option for audiovisual entertainment, but… on what devices can we watch Pluto TV?
The main advantages of Pluto TV over other similar platforms are that it is free and that you do not have to register to consume content. In addition, it has more than 100 live channels and series and movies on demand with a wide variety of themes. But, above all, it stands out for its compatibility with almost all the devices you can think of.
There are many similar services that offer FAST (free ad-supported streaming television) channels that, unfortunately, we cannot access from our mobile phone or Smart TV. Amazon Fire TV
Amazon’s Fire TV sticks turn conventional televisions into smart ones with the Fire OS operating system. They are direct competition to Google’s Chromecast and, among their many available platforms, is Pluto TV.
If you have an old television, but you want to transform it into a Smart TV and enjoy Pluto TV content on a larger screen than your cell phone or laptop, this is a good option. Especially if you don’t want to spend money on a new TV and want a cheap stick. On Amazon, you can find Fire TVs for only 34.99 euros.
Apple Devices
The developers of Pluto TV also have an application for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro. You just have to search for the platform from the App Store of the apple brand device and install it on your device.
This way, you can consume the free content of this service from your mobile phone, your tablet, your television or even your mixed reality glasses. Unfortunately, this last device is not yet available in Spain. However, Pluto TV does not fall short of offering its audiovisual entertainment on Apple. In fact, you can even use it on your Mac computer if you do it from the web browser.
Google devices
As with Apple, the application is also present on all technological products with a Google operating system. Whether it’s an Android smartphone, a television with Android TV or Google TV, a Chromebook computer or a television that uses Chromecast.
In this case, Pluto TV will need to be downloaded from the Google Play Store app store. By doing so, you will be able to enjoy all the audiovisual content on the free platform, regardless of whether you log in or decide not to register. Of course, if you don’t create an account, you won’t be able to follow a series of their à la carte service where you left off.
Hisense devices
Hisense is a Chinese company that focuses on the manufacturing of home appliances and electronic products. Currently, it is one of the most famous television brands in the world. Of these devices, their Smart TVs stand out, which have the VIDAA operating system.
This alternative to Fire OS, Google TV, Apple TV or Android TV also allows you to use Pluto TV. Therefore, if you have a Hisense smart TV, you will be able to watch its FAST channels or its delayed programs without any problems.
webOS devices
Another software compatible with Pluto TV is webOS TV, which LG Electronics uses for its smart TVs. This system is based on Linux. It was originally developed by Palm for mobile phones and tablets, then HP acquired it, but LG ended up keeping it.
Therefore, the availability of Pluto TV on webOS is exclusively for those users with an LG Smart TV. That means that if you search for the platform in the LG Store on your television, you will find the application to watch a wide variety of audiovisual content.
Microsoft devices
As Pluto TV points out on its website, its app can also be used from Microsoft products and services. Specifically, you can use it through its consoles, from the Xbox One to the most recent Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

Samsung Devices
According to Pluto TV, its platform has been available on televisions from the South Korean brand Samsung since 2017. Specifically, it began to be introduced on these devices since the Tizen Smart TV 2017 model. Therefore, all the launches that have come after have been able to take advantage of this service.
It should be noted that Samsung is one of the top smart TV manufacturers today. If Pluto TV were not present on these devices, it would be strange, since it has a large audience interested in its televisions.
Sony Devices
As with Xbox consoles, Sony consoles are also compatible with Pluto TV. From the company’s support page, they notify that those who have a Playstation 4 or PS5 in their possession can access their audiovisual content to entertain themselves without problems.
Previously, it was also available on the third-generation console, but this stopped being the case years ago. Hopefully, the same will eventually happen with the PS5. However, for now, Pluto TV is still available and we trust that it will continue to be so for a few more years.
